It is appreciated that there are problems when providing children with clothing, but the inclusion of uniform recommendations not only mean that all children can be seen as equal, but also prevent any competition regarding 'fashion'.

Below is a list of other items that are either required or recommended:

Other items required/recommended:

Regarding footwear, it is most important that children are comfortable for the whole time they are here, and fashion shoes, especially those with heels, are totally unsuitable for school.

In addition to the above sportswear, as the children progress through the school and pursue more varied outdoor activities, training shoes (or football boots for boys) are required and a tracksuit is advisable.
Swimming trunks/costume and towel are also required and children with long hair will need a swimming hat.
All P.E. Kit should be brought in a suitable bag or holdall.
For art and craft work it is recommended that children bring an old shirt or smock to wear.
All items of clothing should be clearly marked with the child's name.
Jewellery should not be worn. Only ear studs are allowed, and members of staff will not take responsibility for their removal (required when undertaking aspects of Physical Education), or their replacement.
No responsibility can be taken for watches or other valuable, so these items should not be brought to school.
