| Children gain
points for their houses in a variety of ways, and friendly
competition between them is encouraged with the accent
on effort rather than ability.
The house system also fosters a sense of 'belonging'
, responsibility, and social interaction between children
of different ages. House trophies for sport and other
achievements are completed for throughout the year.
School also operates a merit system of rewards for good
work and service to the class/school.
Members of staff issue merit slips which can be collected
towards receipt of a Merit Certificate.
Each term class nominations are received for hard work
and achievement. Certificates and trophies are awarded
to the children so nominated.
